Rear-end collision

(jd) A traffic accident occurred on Holser Straße at 2.20 p.m. on Monday (12.5.). A 64-year-old man from Melle was driving his VW in the direction of Levisonstraße when he had to brake his vehicle due to traffic. A 21-year-old man from Bünde driving directly behind did not manage to brake his Mercedes in time and a rear-end collision occurred. Due to the force of the collision, the VW was pushed into a Mercedes in front driven by a 37-year-old woman from Bünder. The driver and her 3-year-old child were injured. The 64-year-old was also injured in the accident. An ambulance was called to the scene and all three received medical treatment. Property damage of around 17,500 euros was caused.
