Thomas Roosen has been Director of the State Office for Central Police Services since July 2020. He has gotten to know the NRW police from many different perspectives. Among other things, Roosen was a patrol officer in Wuppertal and an investigator at the State Office of Criminal Investigation. Thomas Roosen has spent most of his professional life in the IT sector, as head of department at the LZPD NRW and as a consultant in the Ministry of the Interior. His goal is to further advance the modernization and digitalization of the NRW police force.
